I've been searching for hours and hours. Does anyone know of a web service that will accept an ISBN number and return the Library of Congress call number? I hope to integrate this functionality into a library management component.

I just went to the "Library of Congress" web site ( www.loc.gov ) and did a search on "isbn web service" and received a page of likely information.

Yup, as far as I can tell this will require a good deal of effort, not a simple http request as I was hoping.
