I recently just created a new database that is related to an existing hosted database. When I bring the database to the server and tell the server to open it, it does nothing. and so far we are unable to use the relational database.

Any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Also when I go to administration on the server and activate remote administration and enter the password, restart the server, it doesn't stay in remote it clicks back to disable remote login.

Is the new file set to multi-user?

yes at first i thought that was the issue so i set the sharing to multiuser brought it back over to the server and re did everything and still it won't recognize the file

Does the file have an fp5 extension?

Have you exceeded your max number of hosted databases or is your fmp server set to a lower number of databases than you are hosting??

yes it shows fp5 as an extention and we only have four databases being hosted right now so this would make five i think the limit is 50

Please read your log to see if there are any hints.
