I have a form containing 3 fields as categorization called "

Search the forum for "dynamic value lists" for some ideas.

The problem is, that the relation-ships doesn't take affect in search-mode. Everything works nearly fine if I define the value list containing all values of that specific field. But thats to much for viewing (I do know why I want such nested value-lists (you can try yourself with the boggle-example ( http://www.fmforums.com/threads/download.php?Number=134828 ), its just like that one)

btw I'm using FileMaker since v2, but it's first time I need nested relationships in searchmode... I keep searching for a checkbox "use related value-lists in search"

Change the search fields and relationships' limiting criteria to globals and have the criteria selected in Browse Mode. Then Enter Find Mode and set your regular fields with the global values.
