When I posted four templates on our server using instant web publishing, two of my four templates are missing the NEW, DELETE, and FIND buttons at the top. I was wondering how to work with certain changes that occur when the template is published? where does one start? What would be the reason that one would retain this field and another would not?

Howdy, ten! I'm less than wizardly when it come to IWP (turned it on a few times to answer questions but never really used it for a project), but if you're looking for wild guesses or gooses to chase/try...

I think IWP publishes based on layout design, so try adjusting your layout to make sure fields are well-inside margin areas and do not overlap part boundries or each other. Also make sure fields are of adequate size for desired content. I'm not sure if fonts make a difference, but try a simple layout with simple fonts and no special security/restrictions on fields and/or users and see if it makes a difference. I think IWP lets you choose different styles for showing to web visitors... try a few different ones and see if you seen any consistency or changes.
