wmugrad28 Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Hello, I have a layout with a header and footer. This layout has five buttons in a row side by side (four of the five are linked by scripts to a layout). When I click on the Preview Mode button the four that are linked to scripts vanish and the other one is still there. How can I show the other four too? They all fit within the page margins. Greg
Ender Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 So you want to show the buttons on a printout? Usually it's the opposite. Try selecting the objects you want to change on the layout, then go to Format->Sliding/Printing, and hit the 'Do not print selected objects' checkbox.
DykstrL Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 wmugrad28, Even if you 'show' the buttons, they will still not be clickable. They will print though. Keep in mind that the Preview is really a graphic image of the printed page(s) as it would be sent to the printer. A good way to illustrate this is go to a layout, enter Preview mode, select Edit/copy, then paste into Word or a image editor. You will see that the 'preview' is nothing more than a screen shot.
