I was wondering if anybody has had problems dealing with slow printing in FileMaker. I takes a long time to print stuff. If I have to print lets say 10 records, it will print one, then stop, then print another, then stop, etc etc; instead of printing them all at once without halting.

Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem.

Is your print spooler off?

I'm not completely sure if it is, but the thing is when users print labels to these printers using other programs it runs fine. It only has this problem when printing from FileMaker. When labels are generated and printed from FM, it prints then pauses after one sheet, then prints again, pause, etc etc.

What is the printer you're using? How exactly are you generating the labels in FMP?

We are using Zebra printers. Model 140XiIII. I am beginning to think that maybe its an issue with the driver or the way FileMaker sends the data to the printer. If I am assuming correctly, FileMaker sends the label data as an image. This might be causing it to print one by one... Anybody else seeing this kind of problem?
