I am new to FM. I want to make website in FM. Do I have to use FM as front end or HTML. If HTML , then how should i communicate between FM 7.0 and HTML

FM7 has built-in Instant Web Publishing that handles everything for you... no coding or additional pages required. FM4-6 had Custom Web Publishing that gave you more control, as well, but it has been discontinued in FM7+. If you need more control than what IWP offers, you will have to consider learning XML, php, or other more advanced technologies to use in your website. You may want to read about FileMaker Pro 7 Server Advanced.
