Hi,

If you sort a field by say 'ascending' in a table and you allow the user to toggle ascending or descending by pressing a button or two.

in a multi-user environment each user gets their own sorted table view correct?

so if user 1 sorts by ascending; then the next user , user 2, will be able to sort by descending without effecting the other users sort right?

Thanks Transpower, I just wanted to be sure. I read an article which discussed sorting (on filemakermagazine.com) and it sounded like it might be necessary but was a little fuzzy).... Although I have never had any problems with my users - I just figured i better double check.
