I have a database I've created for customer relationship management; and now I'm trying to integrate another FMP DB for scheduling purposes.

I file referenced them one to the other, and creted tables for each in the relatioships window, now what I'm trying to do is:

1. Open the Scheduling window >

2. Get the Customers info, for the new appointment, and place it in the customer field in the Scheduling program; manually enter the rest of the information >

3. After the new appointment has been submited, a portal row in the ,management program should display all the appointment related to that specific customer.

I currently have this script running:

[color:"red"]New Appoinment

Commit Records/Requests

[ No dialog ]

Set Field [ DatesConstant::CompanyName; Company::Name ]

Set Field [ DatesConstant::DateGlobal; Scheduling::CalDay ]

Set Field [ DatesConstant::ProjectGlobal; Scheduling::varTab ]

Perform Script [ "NewRec2" from file: "Dates 4" ]

Select Window [ Name: "Dates" ]

[color:"red"]NewRec2

Enter Browse Mode

Go to Layout [ "FormMeasure" (Dates) ]

New Record/Request

Set Field [ Dates::Customer; Dates::CompanyName ]

Set Field [ Dates::Date; Dates::DateGlobal ]

Set Field [ Dates::Project; "Measure" ]

Adjust Window [ Resize to Fit ]

No luck so far confused.gif can some one help?

First of all, do you need to place unique ID's not real data in the scheduling thingy, when the relations work are the data shown referentially, what also makes to opposite view posible ...that is going from the scheduling to the company/client...
