Slobey Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Hi, this may have been addressed but I didn't know how to search for it. I was trying to impliment a custom function from the excelisys web site and it had a character in it that looks like kind of like a letter E but looks greek. It has a flat bottom and top and the down line is indented. It almost looks like an hourglass that has the right side missing. Is this making any sense at all? If you know what this is, please let me know and tell me how to enter it. Thanks in advance
Fitch Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 How about posting the link to the function in question. I think you're talking about the uppercase Sigma character (which I can't seem to make this forum display). It's often used to mean "sum" or in FileMaker sometimes, "summary." On a Mac the key combo is opt-w.
Slobey Posted February 22, 2005 Author Posted February 22, 2005 I found it. It was a sum character. I found a list of 3 digit alt functions to get them, thanks anyway
