I was trying to impliment a custom function from the excelisys web site and it had a character in it that looks like kind of like a letter E but looks greek. It has a flat bottom and top and the down line is indented. It almost looks like an hourglass that has the right side missing. Is this making any sense at all? I think you're talking about the uppercase Sigma character (which I can't seem to make this forum display). It's often used to mean "sum" or in FileMaker sometimes, "summary."
