You'll have to use a format that's common to both; probably .dbf will work. A better method would be to use ODBC.

Hi K3lso, and welcome to the Forum.

Take a look at the Online Help (with FileMaker open) by typing or pasting this "file formats, About file formats" into the Index window and clicking on "Display" button, and you will see a complete list of the file types that FM can export and import, along with any special amenities such as the delimiters, with or without field names, etc.. Then just match the one that provides what FoxPro can import (assuming there is a way of finding this out in FoxPro), and choose it in the Export Menu.

FoxPro should be able to import comma-separated (CSV) files or DBF files. Most database applications are. Try exporting your FileMaker data to one of those two formats.

File > Export Records

make sure the file type is set to "csv" or "dbf".

HTH,

Jerry
