Change field background color of field with focus?

Featured Replies

Does anybody have a procedure for changing the background color of a field that has focus or is selected? I don't think this is possible but thought I would throw it out there before i totally dismissed it. Is there a plugin that might do this?

Thanks!

LaRetta posted a nice one a while ago (if my Korsakov didn't prevent me remembering where I saw that, I'd post the link crazy.gif ).

IIRC:

You colour the entire layout part in the highlight colour.

Then you put a large square in a normal colour over the layout (thus hiding the real colour). You use 'arrange' to send it to the back.

Then you tell the to be highlighted fields to have no (= transparant when active) background.

In the layout setup, you deactivate 'show field frames when record is active'.

Once you click a field, the real layout colour peeps through, effectively highlighting the field.
