I dont know why, i dont know how but none of my records are deleting, everytime i try delete a record it takes me back to the first.

any suggestions?

You may be a newbie but don't be silly! How can you expect us to help with no information?

How are you attempting the delete? Are you using a script? Have you checked the button the script is attached to? What happens when you use the Menu > Record > Delete? Is this a delete of related record? In a portal? Bigger than a breadbox? Or what?

This is like telling your mechanic over the phone, "My car won't go. What's wrong?" The list of reasons could be endless. Help us help you here.

i go to menu> record > delete all records, but nothing deletes. it takes me to my first record. i can only delete by right clicking each individual record, but i have 6 000 of them

The specific layout has a relationship, has NO scripts/calculations/portals/buttons. I have several other db were the records won't delete too. maybe it's something to do with filemaker itself?

Delete All Records only applies to the Found Set.
