Hi all first post here, and first time using filemaker, so I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Im want to use filemaker pro to publish a database on the web. However I want to use a database that is located on a server running filemaker server obviously. The ideas being both web users and office ( LAN) users can access the same one database.

However I can not seem to get the database to show in sharing/instant web publishing/currently open files....and therefore I can't get it public.

Am I barking up the wrong tree ? Or just missing something cause I skipped bits of the manual ?
