Hello,

Every record has it own unique Record ID. I want to show/use this unique Record ID in my filemaker solution.

In CMDL I can use [FMP-CurrentRecID], but this time I need the current Record ID in my FileMaker solution to create a relationship to another tabel.

I define a field called RecordID when I create a new record this field should show the record ID that belongs to that record.

Can somebody help me out on this matter?

Define the field to auto enter a calculation =

Status (CurrentRecordID)

Or simply use a serial number.

Status (CurrentRecordID) works in FMP6 -) but not in FMP7 :-(

The option Status does not exist anymore and I can't found another calulation which does the same as Status.

Does anyone know what Status is become in FMP7

FileMaker changed the Status to Get in v7, what you are looking for is called Get ( RecordID )
