Apple's Developer site states that their new Core Data programming model includes the following features:

1. Interface builder - allows a programmer to place data objects and items such as window sliders on a window layout.

2. Core data- relationships between data objects defined with a graphical user interface (similar to FM relationship graph).

3. Built in SQLite data format.

Can we hope for a day when we can design true applications, not just databases, with complex features such as the ability to manipulate graphical objects, as a front end to a fast SQLite database, but with ease comparable to FileMaker?
