good day!

i'm trying to export a layout to quark, but the formatting isn't going with it, even though i check the box. i watched someone do it yesterday on a different computer, and copied down what they did, but it's still not working.

can someone walk me through it step by step?

thanks

db

Hi db,

This questions comes up from time to time. [color:"Blue"] click on the Search above and enter this:

Search = All Forums

Keywords = +export +quark [color:"blue"](Include the plus signs as shown)

Weeks = 0

and you will get several hits.

good day!

i tried your suggestion, but none of the posts i found really answered my question. there seems to be some kind of code tags i'm supposed to be using to send formatting to quark, but i've never seen in a tutorial or documentation of either program anything addressing this. do you know where i can find that information?

thanks

db

Hi, sorry that didn't help.

I just did a search using the keywords of Xpress and Tag, and got 2, both of which maybe what you are looking for.

Search = [color:"blue"]All Fields

Keywords = [color:"blue"]+" Xpress " +" tag " Note: I have added spaces and quotes. It narrowed it down quite a bite Although they were old, I believe it is what you are needing.

Weeks = [color:"blue"]0

If this doesn't help you, there is a QuarkXpress site that I have used in the past that was very helpful.
