V7 -popup list button & GTfield not quite working

I have a solution on FMP7 server advanced. I am accessing my solution via IWP (from the server). On a layout, I have a field with a popup menu. I've made the field a button with a script running. If a condition is met, some other field is set to a value(shows a message in a text box), otherwise I go to the field (where the user can select a value from the list). I'm attaching a screen shot of the script.

My solution works great when running from the FMP7 client, but I have difficulty on the web interface. The drop down list shows, but I can not select anything.

Any thoughts?
