I have a series of value lists offering a conditional list structure (e.g. Category 1, Category 2, Category 3, Category 4)

The first value list (Category 1) uses values from a field in another file and the others use related values from other files.

When I open my file as a host it works fine, but opened as a shared user (using another password) on another PC another value list has attached itself to the first field. (Value List for Category 3 now attached to Field: Category 1).

Can anyone advise?

May be another password does not have permission to the related file?

Thanks for your reply but regrettably they do have password permission.

Is a global field involved in this relationship? It will change depending upon each User interaction and might explain the switch. Also make sure the correct value list is attached to the field on that particular layout with the incorrect Value List popping up. I suspect a global of changing the relationship, thus changing the related record set.
