Databases are not available in Lasso Site Admin

We have Filemaker Server 7 installed on one machine (a PC Win 2003 Server) and Lasso 8.0.5 and the Filemaker Web Publishing engine installed on Mac, OS X 10.4. Everything was working fine after the installation. The databases where showing in the Filemaker Admin console and also in the Lasso Site Admin. Then a few hours later suddenly all the databases are "Not Available" in the Lasso Web Admin and the error message is "FILEMAKER_CONNECTOR error 9 after select()2/timeout os msg Bad file descriptor". We can still see the databases in the Filemaker Admin console. The machines has not been upgraded and there is nothing wrong with the databases.

What could possibly cause this problem, and how do we solve it?

Is "sleep" or "drive sleep" mode enabled on one of the computers?

None of the computers are put to sleep.

Problem solved.

I think the problem was that we enabled the 'encoding_module' in the Apache web server and that made the web server to crash.
