Is it possible to allow data entry into a field in Browse but prevent it from printing?

Reason: Our company requires that we enter our initials on each transmittal that is sent out of our office. We do not want the initials to show up when we print the record.

Hello Dana G,

Yes it is possible to do this.

Go into Layout Mode and select the field, then go to the Format menu and select Sliding/Printing. In the resulting dialog, click on the checkbox at the lower right which is labelled "Do not print the selected objects". Once you click on ok to dismiss the dialog, you should then find that the selected field will not appear when the layout is either previewed (ie viewed in Preview Mode) or printed. wink.gif
