abomb Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 O.k. I would have thought something like this would have been posted but I can't find it. Anyway, I would like to make a report for estimators that calculates all estimated dollars. We have 4 estimators and I would like a report for each of them for each month. How can I search for "name" and "beg. date" to "end date". I understand about the (...) way to search between dates but can't seem to get it to work right. What I would like is to automate it as well with some type of script, if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.
RalphL Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 If beg. date = 7/1/2005 and end date = 7/31/2005 then you enter the find mode and type 7/1/2005...7/31/2005 in the dtae field. then preform find. This can be done in a script. When using a script you might want to enter the beg & end dates into global fields before going to the find mode. You don't need to find each estimator. You can use sub-summaries to divide the report by estimator. You will need to sort by estimator.
