multiple field search?

Featured Replies

O.k. I would have thought something like this would have been posted but I can't find it.

Anyway, I would like to make a report for estimators that calculates all estimated dollars. We have 4 estimators and I would like a report for each of them for each month. How can I search for "name" and "beg. date" to "end date". I understand about the (...) way to search between dates but can't seem to get it to work right.

What I would like is to automate it as well with some type of script, if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

If beg. date = 7/1/2005 and end date = 7/31/2005 then you enter the find mode and type 7/1/2005...7/31/2005 in the dtae field. then preform find. This can be done in a script. When using a script you might want to enter the beg & end dates into global fields before going to the find mode.

You don't need to find each estimator. You can use sub-summaries to divide the report by estimator. You will need to sort by estimator.
