How can I count and summarise (i.e.show only once) the number of times a text field appears within a portal.

Two questions.

First do you mean how many records are in the portal? How many times a field appears is by your design.

second, whant do you mean by summarize a text field?

What I'm trying to do is count the number of times a persons name appears in a portal and then get it to appear only once. So that the name can appear once and the number of times it occured in that realationship can appear with it.
