Hi,

I'd assume this kind of thread has been done before, so if it has, please point me to it...

I just started working for a company with a huge filemaker database. They don't have many plugins, and I'd think there are one or two that could make my job significantly easier. Can you recommend some plugins that add functionality that you now find it hard to live without? Especially for dealing with large databases?

Small or large databases:

A Dialog Plugin, either Troi or 24U Software. A File Plugin: Troi File. Maybe a Menu Plugin: This depends upon what and how your application(s) were written. Version 8 has a builtin, but see my comments under Custom Menus. If you stay with v7 for a while either Dacons Menu Control or Secure Menu.

There are loads of others, but the Dialog and File plugins I would consider almost manatory.
