New runtime solutions versions

Featured Replies

I have developed a runtime solution. Everytime I make a change, I do this: bring it to the client, install it, import all records from previous version. Now the problem...anything that was added to value lists is lost. Is there a way to bring these value lists over along with the new added records? Thanks!

Nope. Unless you make a separate file for value lists and leave that file in.

How about using "dynamic" lists, where the data for the field drives the list.

Sounds to me like the users are adding "other" entries or modifying your static lists.

They are modifying them. I am thinking the only way to handle this is with another table.
