Hi,

One of the least professional looking behaviors of filemaker, in my opinion, is the way that when you enter one field on a layout, dotted borders appear around all the editable fields on the layout.

Any way to turn this off?

I think unchecking the "Show field frames when record is active" option in Layout Setup - General should do the trick (although my fields actually show solid borders not dotted when this is checked)

If you choose a field border color that is close to the dotted line color, there will be no visual difference...
