Dana G Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Is it possible to send a record using the send mail script step. I would like to be able to include it in the body of the message instead of attaching the record as a .pdf.
mr_vodka Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Are you working with FM8? you do not have to send as an attachment PDF. You can send just the fields, calculation, or an outputted text file.

Well we wanted it to "look" like the record that was created and not just the plain text. Is that not possible? If I have to set up a calculation, is there a way to get the data spaced out? When I have tinkered with it before, all of the data runs together. Is it possible to add carriage returns into a calc?
Alpha-Snail Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Check out the iMailer plugin. It'll do the trick very nicely.
Dana G Posted October 27, 2005 Author Posted October 27, 2005 In the likely event that my company is not willing to purchase the iMailer plug-in, is there a way to add carriage returns to calcs so that the data is more readable? It currenly gets all smashed together into one big paragraph. Is there also a way to put spaces in between values of a checkbox? When I add the field to the mail message, all of the selected valued show up all smashed together with no spaces between them. The values are like this: A; STRUC; ELEC; FP which shows up as ASTRUCELECFP when all values are selected.
Dana G Posted October 27, 2005 Author Posted October 27, 2005 So simple. Thanks I'll see what I get when I do that.
