Newbies curly101 Posted November 20, 2005 Newbies Posted November 20, 2005 A basic question. I want to publish a modified "Faculty Staff" template to a customers website so they can enter new staff members and allow it to be searchable. This is all a bit confusing, but does the external ISP that I use (a Windows 2003 server) need to have Filemaker Server running? Or can I simply save the files somehow to put them in a folder on the site? Also, please point me in the right direction if I can do it without the Sever version. The instructions are confusing, and I appreciate the help. Thanks!
Garry Claridge Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 A few possibilities exist to allow you to achieve this without FMSA): 1. Use CafePHP with FM. 2. Use MySQL (or similar) and "sync" the FM database with it. 3. Have the html Forms emailed to you from the server and use an FM plug-in to import the data. Good Luck. Garry
