In MS Access you can right-mouse click on on a field's entry in datasheet mode and include or exclude all other records therefore quickly filtering records.

How do you do this in FileMaker?

Since this is based on an Application I'm not familiar with, maybe you can elaborate on what the end results would be.

I.e., returns all of the records containing the same value in a Field?

FileMaker does not have this feature. You would have to do a search on the specific fields for your criteria.

In Access is datasheet view, you can right mouse click to exclude certain similar records from view. It's a handy feature.

Actually if you upgrade to FM8, you can right click on a field and you would have the ability to:

Find Matching Records

Constrain Found Set

Extend Found Set

I know you can't do these things in FM7, and I didn't realize it until just a minute ago that FM8 would do those things.
