Steven Cappiello Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 I've written a script that is supposed to show a time picker for meetings that show in a portal. I'm getting weird behavior.. it seems that this script (attached picture) will only work if I click into the portal row to select the row... if I don't, it will use the previously used portal row. How can I get the script to work on the portal row that the button is in ? thanks everyone :)
Steven Cappiello Posted November 28, 2005 Author Posted November 28, 2005 I just realized I seem to have another problem with this script.. I hope/expect that when the time picker comes up, it should show the currently existing start time of the meeting (if there is one) I should note.. the script is attached to the time field.. so that if a user tries to type in a new time, it pulls them over to the related meeting time picker. the script is attached to the start time field so in my portal, I'll have: meeting 1 4:30pm-7:30pm meeting 2 7:30pm-9:30pm so, I want to click on the field showing 4:30pm and have the time picker come up with the 4:30pm radio button selected. it seems it pulls over the information from the previously selected portal row... AND sometimes it shows a time (selected radio button) and sometimes the radio buttons are all blank, even though there IS a start time for the related meeting.
bruceR Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 You are going to the related record - and then you are throwing it away by hiding the window. What us the point of that?
Steven Cappiello Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 i'm sorry.. I don't know what I was doing .. i think i added it when it wasn't working and left it there and was up late working on this... but now that you point it out i feel like an idiot for having left it there, and see that there's no need for it. thanks for pointing out the obvious.
