aldipalo Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Ok, perhaps there is a place I can go to define error messages, but I can't find it. I am getting an error message (See attached file which contains error message and a copy of the layout) when I try to enter an invoice date on my invoice data entry screen. We get retainers or "Advanced Expenses" on all of our assignments. So I need to have a table and an invoice for the initial payments and then a final invoice. All Invoices are related to the "Job_Orders" table. So, why would I get this error? Also, this site has really, really helped me and I'd like to make sure I support it properly. How do I do that? stanley Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Al: That error is being generated due to the way the fields are defined. You have some sort of validation happening on the field definition level. To give a more exact answer, we'd need to see the field definitions for the table. Regarding support of FMForums, go to the "Main" tab, and you'll see options for subscribing. -Stanley
