I found it pretty easy to transfer the CF and required Fields.

I'll use it in a file I'm working on and see how it goes over.

Found a bug in colouring today's day, I'm working on it ...

Here is updated version of text calendar, to build monthly/yearly calendar view. In the file you can find CustomFunction or if you are not using FMAdvanced there is Calculation field that can be copy/paste to your solution.

One minor bug fix. Third line from the end should be:

/* end of Substitute, second 'today' is blue color */ ; TODAY;TODAY&TextColorRemove(" "))

instead of:

/* end of Substitute, second 'today' is blue color */ ; TODAY;TODAY)

I've toyed with this for a moment and I was wondering if there was an easy way to [color:blue]adjust the first day of the week? Over here in Europe, we tend to start calendar displays with Monday instead of Sunday.

I guess it can't be too difficult but over here in Europe it is morning too and I'm writing this with my first cup of coffee...
