Hello everybody. I am searching for a zipcode database to add in my personal database. I want to input a single zipcode and it will fill in the city, state by its self. Does anybody know where I can find this information?

Thank you.

Do a search of the Forums. There is one in the Sample files Topic Area.

Mr. Lee,

Thanks for responding. With the zipcode file you sent me to, can I have all the zip codes in America? or does it only make the zips I currently have work more efficently (spelling) inside my database?

Thanks!

Did you download it? Isn't there more than one Hit for Zip Codes?

If you download the one I'm thinking of (recent post by Steveninvagas, you will see that it has over 43,000 records. I did verify that it had my local stuff in it is all. There are others around, I'm sure in the Forum, as this subject has come up many times. You could also do a search on google for FileMaker and Zip Codes and see what that returns too.

Lee

I ended up purchasing a flat file from www.zipcodedownload.com and imported it into a new table. Works great, and even gives me the county.

There's about 79,000 records in this one.
