chevell Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Ok, I'm trying to set up a simple custom web form that will input its data into an existing FMP database. This used to be relatively simple, but now it seems to be escaping me. I've read the majority of documentation on the matter but seem to be running around in circles. I've got FMSA 7 setup and I'm able to use IWP. All of that is working. I converted an only FM6 cdml site using the converter tool. I just have no idea where to put the xml files within the web site heirarchy and how to call it. I see nothing referencing this in the documentation. Please help!

chevell Posted December 28, 2005 Author Posted December 28, 2005 Awesome. I'm lightyears ahead of where I was yesterday. Thanks! Now I'm getting errors with the XSL files. I have no idea what i'm doing there, but that's a whole new area of research.
Martin Brändle Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Consult the FMS7A Custom Web Publishing Guide. Appendix B for the error messages. Everything is there.
martinc17 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 OK have the files in the right place but not sure how the web forum that will do the search should look. Could someone please post an example of how the search page should look before the user hits the submit button i.e. all the html with a few fields. Thank you.
Martin Brändle Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 You may look in the XML/XSL forum, there are several downloadable example files that give a clue.
