If a have a value list that shows the related contacts to a company and I want to use it in another file why cant I create a value list in the other file using the value list from another file option to bring it over?

I guess one way to do it would be to create a calculation field in the customer file that has the value list based off the relationship but is there any other way? BTW combining files is not an option at this point.

Ask yourself how is the third file to know which records are related for the purpose of the value list.
