I would like to log what different users do in different fields. Today I have to attach button with a script to the field, that triggers when the users click on the field. This is not a good solution, since the field cannot be included in the taborder and you can easily forget to apply this button if you have several layouts with this field on it.

Is there a plugin that can solve this, or any other good suggestion?

Andrew Persons at Excelisys has a great audit log solution. I've used it is couple of solutions and it seem to work well.
