Hello friends,

I have a silly request...that i cannot figure out for the life of me.

I have a Radio Button field with 5 choices.

When adding a New Record, i would like the Radio Button to Default to choice #1.

How do i do that? Please be specific, as i am somewhat iof a beginner.

It's actually pretty simple, and I'll give you an example.

Let's say that the field your radio buttons are in is called TextField, and that the choices on the radio buttons are: "Yes" and "No".

Go to Define Database, and find the field TextField. Double-click on it to bring up the Options panel. Click on the "Auto-Enter" button and check the "Data" checkbox. In the text box next to that, put "Yes" (but without the quotations).

Now, when you create a new record, it will automatically put Yes into the field, which is the value of the "Yes" radio button, so the "Yes" button will be activated.
