January 24, 200619 yr Newbies I have a Database that has a lot of .tif images. I want to put them on a IWP for clients to view. Were talking about 100’s of images, and growing per/client. Currently I have them in a file outside of FM due to the way it stores image files. Within the FM I have a unique reference for each record the relate to the correct image. I want to, with only a click of a button from the client in IWP either open the image in a container field, or in a separate window in an external application. The images can be imported one at a time, due to how the client would be viewing them, or a group of them whatever would be most effieciant. I’m a beginner with FM and have only been using it for 2-3 months, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Edited January 24, 200619 yr by Guest
January 24, 200619 yr I am running Apache and have my photos stored in a directory in the documents folder. Create a reference to the photo in FileMaker and then create a link for that file in IWP. This works great, but make sure whoever is trying to access the file through a browser has the Block Pop-Up Windows turned off. Sam
