Newbies Kurt Moede Posted January 24, 2006 Newbies Posted January 24, 2006 When I print a document using filemaker fields, (FM7), the spacing of the fields is way off. On the screen, it appears to be correct, but the printed version is not. The text of the document and the fields are all the same point size and font...I even tried using several other types of fonts...any suggestions?
Genx Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 hold on... do you get like wierd gaps in your text? cause i had that problem to... never fixed it thought lol..
Newbies Kurt Moede Posted January 24, 2006 Author Newbies Posted January 24, 2006 not necessarily gaps....just moving a line or two away (or a space or two) from the screen view
Ted S Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 When you are in the browse (or preview) mode are you viewing at 100% or is it something else? What makes you think the spacing is wrong? I just had a thought; try checking the sliding/printing settings on the offending fields. They may be sliding on you.
Newbies Kurt Moede Posted January 24, 2006 Author Newbies Posted January 24, 2006 (edited) The fields dropped to the next line without the sliding and with the sliding. Preview mode indicates everything appearing normal....The view is 100% in both cases... Edited January 24, 2006 by Guest
Wing Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 (edited) I've had strange problems with preview mode and actual prints before. I'd try changing to another font, that solved it for me. -w Edited January 25, 2006 by Guest
Vaughan Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 This is often a printer driver issue, anseems to be more common with HP printers. Update the printer driver, change drivers (say to postcript if available), or try it ona a different printer.
