how to create a host script and a guest script?

hey all,

sorry if this makes no sense. We have filemaker pro 5.5 and the host machine seems to run a different script when we open the db than the guest machines. What i need to know how to do is create a new host script as we are mocing machines. And then how to create a new guest script so that they have to wait for the host machine to be up and running before they can access the db. The manual doesn't appear to be helping me here..

any guidance would be appreciated. Not sure i am on the right track !!
