anyone know of a way, other than a commercial plugin) to get a file location in a field?

How do you see this? User selects a file from a "file browse dialog" and the resulting location gets stored in a file?

Can be done with a VBscript. I showed this at the 2004 Devcon. Let me know if that's what you need done and I'll see if I can post the demo file.

Here's the demo ...

Returns all files in a chosen folder. There's another dialog to select just one file but I don't have a ready demo for that.
