I have a layout with a few Text fields on them and the text fields each have scroll bars. I'm trying to print out the layout so ALL the text in field prints. Is there a way to set the field to be "variable" in length when printing so that all the text can display. I've tried using the sliding up features to elminate white for the fields that dont have much data BUT my problem is just the opposite. I need more space so all the contents of the text box print. Am I making sense here?

You may have to use merge fields instead. You can create another layout just for printing the merge fields.

Different layout with max size fields is the answer. Merge fields aren't necessary.

It is usually better to have separate layouts for viewing and printing.

What if the text field is more than 1 page. Does FMP support fields that large?

I have a similar problem except that some of my fields hold letters that can be quite long. Any work around?
