SteveB Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 The plugin has to be $299 or close. The plugin won't work beyond row 1 of a portal, and is a real pain. Loads of stuff in 8 Advanced: Tab Control Widget allows easy tab layouts (not perfect, but a whole lot better than nothing); Custom Functions, Text Formatting calculations, PDF creation (but not in a runtime), direct Excel creation, developer designed user menus; a debugger that shows field values in real time, and more. I upgraded from 6 to 7 and never used 7 (yawn), but 8 Advanced is great. Steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
