Wim Decorte Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 Certainly not recommended unless you do it as a 2-stage process: - have FMS backup to the local hard disk - use shell scripts/applescripts to zip the backup and move it to a mounted volume. 2 reasons it's not recommended: - it takes longer - if the mounted volume is not available then no backup happens (and that can bite you in the behind really badly) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
