Hi,

I am running FM8 Server Advanced, and want to set up daily backups on a server other than the one FM resides. Under the Server Preference dialog, then Default Folders tab, No matter what path I try...even mapping drives, the "Validate" button returns a "Not Valid Path". Is it possible to backup over the network, or am I stuck on the FM8 Server.

Having FMS backing up directly to a remote server is usually not a very good idea for different reasons.

Mapping drives would not do you any good: they won't be available when the FMS machine is ran with nobody logged on...
