Newbies cdcreek Posted March 19, 2006 Newbies Share Posted March 19, 2006 Can anyone help me answer these questions: 1.) hosting - what are our options for filemaker server? does filemaker offer hosting plans themselves? have preferred partners? what are approximate costs? 2.) we've used instant web publishing to publish a database; however, there is a cap on concurrent users (5); further, we want read-only access rights to not require login; how can this be accomplished? via filemaker server? 3.) how can you tell filemaker to publish to a certain website that we have FTP access to, versus a pre-set IP address? Please see: http://www.pointinspace.com/ 2 - You can use FileMaker Server Advanced (or a hosting provider like us who runs off of it) to expand the session limit to 100 concurrent sessions.
