musicarteca Posted March 25, 2006 Share Posted March 25, 2006 I need to use a value list in a portal, displaying the contact name, to enter the contact ID to establish a relationship between two tables. This VL might grow eventually to a fairly large number of records to be easily managed on a VL. What is the recommended procedure for this situation. My Users adore this new feature and it has allowed me to uncomplicate my structure in several places. UPDATE: If the number of selections grows past a hundred, I still filter as Kent suggests AND provide Auto-Complete on the filtered VLs. For instance, our Contacts are at 85,000.
