openURL opens window in background on MS Windows

Using FMP8A on a Mac and testing IWP w/Safari, openURL performs as expected. When I tested IWP on Windows, the URL opens in a new window which is quickly pushed to the background. I've tried changing the database window from maximize, but no change in behavior. Is there another Windows setting I should be concerned about? (I'm a Mac user)

Do a check for the system platform, and if on windows send event: and just put your url in here i.e. "www.google.com.au". Select bring application to front and it should open your url in the default browser.

Solution. After launching the url, pause the layout for a few seconds. Don't know why, but it works.
