ACtually my fmp works with mm/dd/yyyy

i wanted to change it to work as dd/mm/yyyy

Actually, your FMP works with whatever formats are set in your OS, or stored within the file. If you change your Windows settings to dd/mm/yy, any NEW files will use that.

Older files can be set to use the current system format (in File > File Options... > Text > Data Entry), or you can clone them under the new OS format settings.

You can also go to layout mode and select the date field, then Format -> Date.

That will change the display - but not data entry.

Of course. That's true. But it is also a valid option.
